Awesome food loved the decor and music. The drinks were fantastic. Our waiter needs more training but was polite and nice, the manager should wait for the waiter to walk away from their table instead of interrupting the customer ordering. It beats having to apologize to a customer, which he did that's why they got 5 stars. Ww will be customers here again. The food was fast and great.

I had the St Lucia Taco, incredible flavor! I don’t like spicy food, but this although not spicy, it had a little bit of it. The service was fast and our server Eva was awesome. Definitely recommend!

The very best margaritas are made at Surfside - so good, Hubs ordered a second. We loved sharing the street corn and birria tacos, and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend and return!

I have been to other Tex-Mex restaurants but Surfside is my top favorite. Opening during the height of the pandemic, it quickly became a standout spot, thanks in part to its spacious, covered patio dining area—perfect for the times. This restaurant tends to get quite busy, especially on Fridays and weekends, so making a reservation is highly recommended. This is the most requested restaurant among our out-of-town guests for good reasons! Everyone loves the delicious food, exceptional service, and the casual, family friendly atmosphere. With larger gatherings, we often opt for takeout. It is more comfortable to enjoy the great food at home. Some of our favorites include the Aruba Salad, Tahiti Salad, Pork Belly Sliders, and Street Corn. For larger groups, the Fajita Box is an excellent choice. If you’re a fan of seafood, Surfside's grilled shrimp dishes feature large, perfectly cooked shrimp. Parking: Set your GPS to 3977 Van Ness Street NW, Washington, DC 20016 This is a small surface lot which is quite busy. The restaurant validates free one hour parking for the garage at 3959 Van Ness Street NW. Weekdays: The first hour is free with validation; 2 per hour afterward. Evenings: Parking is free after 5 pm on weekdays. Weekends: Parking is free all day.

My official Memorial Day festivities began with dinner at this surf themed restaurant. It is our second visit and the food and service could not have been better. This kitchen does not mess around. Chef and crew “Bravo!” Our server, Tucker, was phenomenal. He was so professional and polite and flawless. If I was in this industry, I would snatch him in a heartbeat. The frozen spicy margarita was delicious. Hats off to the bartender. The pork al pastor Island Nachos, our appetizer, was delicious. For our entrees, we had the Cayman Islands Enchiladas and the Rock House Bowl. Both were masterfully executed and served piping hot. What a perfect evening! Happy Memorial Day.
